Morrissey @ Stereophonics show (Feb. 16)

mozgene writes: Hello my name is Jose (mozgene). Tonight (Feb. 16) I ran into Morrissey at the STEREOPHONICS show in Los Angles at El Rey Theatre. I was going to get a drink at the bar went Morrissey was walking down the steps from the balcony, I was not sure if that was him so I said to him "Is that you Morrissey?" He replied, "I hope so". I told him my name and shook his hand and we said good bye to each other. I'm very happy to run in to Morrissey, I'm still surprised that he was there.

Shoplifterromo also writes: While in town for the Stereophonics show, spotted Moz upstairs at the El Rey watching the boys from Wales. Even though he was sipping Coronas, no one bothered him. He left after 3 songs. Must admit he should've stuck around.

  • Again and again and again. You can do this much time wasting with lack-lustre rock combos in London or Manchester you know Morrissey. We had Eric Clapton here last week you know. You might have got Backstage even! Andy Rourke is still good for a pint, he's available on weekdays between 12pm and 1am. Like you.

  • only three comments? and not one complaining about morrissey's terrible choice in concert? i'm amazed! there should have been eight million angry fans saying that the 'phonics are turgid, half-assed crap and that moz should be ashamed of himself. maybe he realised that himself and that's why he left after three songs.
    anyway, that's all.
