On Jan. 23, at 11:04 AM PST a Mac user (somewhere in the midwest US I think) recorded the 3 millionth page hit on the front page. This last million took about the same time to accumulate as the second million, 9 months.

Also, in a few weeks (on Feb. 12), the site will turn 4 years old. Who knows where the time goes? Thanks to all of those who continue to contribute to the site, in the form of submitting news items and stories, adding commentary and criticisms, or sending personal support. Naturally, I see just about everything that goes on within the site and am continually impressed with the quality of the submissions, especially for a subject which is considered "non-existent" by those on the outside. I've been looking around for other music-related sites on the web and have not found anything nearly as interesting or active as this one. Keep up the good work.

  • This is one of three sites I visit two times a day, the other ones being my email accounts!! I love it and everything you need to know about Morrissey is on here. Well worth the struggle, thanks David!

  • You keep up the good work. This is all for you David. It has only a passing connection to Morrissey. There is only one constant on every post, davidt. Thank you again, promise to never leave. M-solo 4 ever

  • Cheers for the past twelve months. After the tour ended over here I have logged on to grasp at any positive news on Morrissey every day. Clambering over the lofty posturings of wannabes and the ramblings of non-beleiving imposters there have been nuggets of priceless info. There is no such enthusiasm in the U.K. which I suppose is why he left.

Still modest about your achievements ~ figure is justified due to your efforts.

  • Mr. David Tsjeng, for creating this Morrissey
    website.
Every fan knows this site is _the_ nr.1 Moz site.
If it should ever stop [I can't imagine and hope
it never happens],then there will be a lot
of emptyness in my life, which I'm sure isn't
    easy to replace, as if.
So David I hope you know how much you're loved
by all Morrissey fans, for doing this, I
spontaneous think that we fans should do
something in return to show David how we
apreciate and care for what he did/does for us.
    [but I don't know how,yet][Ideas welcome]

I'd say keep up the good work, David.

    Thanks.

  • I also checked out other fan-sites (of other bands) and this is absolutely the best! I told one of my friends who was a great smiths-fan but didn't really like Moz-solo the existence of this site and he is totally Moz-solo now!
    Thanks and congratulations.

  • I just wanted to add my thanks, as well. I use this site to prove Morrissey's popularity among his truly devoted fans to people who think he's a wash-out. Three million people can't be wrong! Thank you, David T, for coordinating a great fan site!

  • Thank YOU David. You have made it all possible; I have been coming here, though as of late, sporadically, for over 2 years now. Great job all around, and of course thank to the people who come to chat and for the opportunity for making so many new friends and getting my hands on so much good music!

  • David, thank you so much. What can I add that wasn´t already said?

Well, I got to know two good friends here in Hamburg after having read one of their comments on this website. Maybe friends for a lifetime; can a website do anything better?

And without this site, I surely wouldn´t have that little fish tattoed on my arm (which I might need to stress is positive...)

I propose a new poll: which position does morrissey.solo take in the list of your favourite web-adresses? Don´t be surprised, on my computer it´s right on the top...

  • What I really love about this site, amongst other things, is your ingenius use of grey, olive and sepia tones that makes this site the most aesthetically pleasing on the eye that I have seen so far on the net - Morrissey couldn't have designed it better himself if he had the time or the inclination.

How often do you surf the web, and immediatedly your visual senses or assaulted by garish, vulgar colours and hideous advertising banners. It's therapy just coming in here - even without looking at the latest news.

Thanks David for preserving the integrity and beauty of this site. Everyone who comes in here, truely appreciates your work! We should be eternally grateful that someone as gifted as you set up this site in the first. You have a few immitators, but no one will ever surpass your own genius. Morrissey is only worthy of high brow professionalism, he is surely fortunate to have you as a dedicated fan. No one else would do!
