Graham Reed writes:

Whilst in an interview with Wonder Stuff vocalist/guitarist Miles Hunt last month, he revealed that Alain was at the Wonder Stuff's show at the London Forum on December 12th and the two are planning on writing together material for Miles forthcoming solo album "Flapping On The Pier". Miles has already recorded about 23 songs in demo form and it is unclear if any of the songs with Alain are to be on the album, which is due in April/May this year.

The interview will be posted at the end of the month at www.drownedinsound.com and www.bone-idle.co.uk.

Some leftover songs will be released on a series of singles/EP's to be released over the year.

  • ...the way things are going with Morrissey, Alain might be needing an extra income very soon.... But fair enough, he's an excellent musician so it's about time he got involved with more people. Good luck for that!

    If I wasn't a cat, I'd be a girl.
  • Happy to know that Miles Hunt could prove he's got taste.

If with Alain White, Miles goes on tour, it won't be "Welcome to the cheap seats" anymore, but welcome to the best ones.

For sure, I'll buy a pair of tickets.

  • I can only imagine how excellent this "merger" will be. In addition to providing some graphics/photography work for Milo on a past album, I had a chance to spend some time with him while on tour here in the States. He is a great artist and often overlooked. His lyrical content is very special and I highly suggest giving any of it a listen. He is and has always been one of my favorite songwriters from his days in the Stuffies all the way up through his current solo material The guys at Milo's label(Gig Records) are top guy's as well and this is very odd because I (only half) jokingly suggested many, many months ago that they push to sign Moz since he was without a label. One can only hope..... Seriously, give his stuff a shot even if you wait until the material with Alain is released.
