Morrissey on Sunset

The long-awaited DVD of the collected video works of Morrissey will be hitting the stores October 17th. A moment or two before that-- at midnite on Oct 16-- Virgin Records on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles will open wide their doors to allow Morrissey devotees to buy the DVD early and meet Morrissey in the store. There's even a rumor that hee'll be doing the same thing at Virgin in NYC later that week. We'll let you know.

  • As I had posted before in the subject if the Moz apperance rumor. I knew it would be at the Virgin Mega store. Since it's so close to his home and when he's done signing and hearing every last story that we may have for him, he will leav out the back get in His BMW and jet straight home....

  • I cannot think of a better thing to do on the anniversary of Oscar Wilde's birthday than to meet Morrissey! The timing makes it a really too perfect an occasion...alas, I will be celebrating it nowhere near this event. Have fun you lucky things!! Please feel privileged; you most certainly are BLOODY LUCKY!

    At least it was legit, and didn't involve Johnny Marr playing with Beck.

    ..and i was so excited to sit at home and find out what i was missing...now i've got to wait until the 17th when the reports start flowing in...

  • I don't think that it will last very long. What will happen is people will get overexcited and start doing stupid stuff. Then Morrissey will leave, maybe signing ten or fifeteen dvd's! I just hope that everyone behaves themselves so everyone can enjoy this event!

  • Umm..not really a response to this posting but uh....was wondering where I could get some more info on Morrissey as I am a recent fan. Are there other good web sites out there other than this lovely one? Any good books in the media? Please help! OOo I hope to be at the Virgin store as I am moving to Santa Barbara in a few weeks..about one hour north of L.A., I must admit however that I hate the city!

  • so i went to virgin records store to pre-order oye esteban and the punks told me i couldn't,so i will wake up early that morning to buy it!!but i want to meet morrissey so bad it rattles my bones i will be one of those lucky 500 people to get a wristband even if it means i have to unload some ammunition on the competition.......haha.....but i really will be there!!!!!!!
