  • This is exciting news.
Hopefully it's to announce a greatest hits style tour to promote The re-issue(s).

I always like seeing the man best when he has no real agenda setlist-wise, IE:2000 and 2002.

  • I've got a feeling Morrissey will make an announcement of some sort.....probably a few UK live dates in December? And then the tickets go on sale the following week and all the fans are "panic buying" the lot! We've been there before!

  • It's not the singles market anymore. Is "Sunday" the very first Morrissey digital single? Only the collectors & die-hards will buy the physical formats, ie. "artefacts". Is there a Facebook group? We should try and get "Sunday" to the charts again....

  • Morrissey will announce details about his new up coming album in 2011. "Somewhere there's a someone."

  • judging by the looks of it a winter tour is in the works. my guess would be a few UK tour dates right around late this year/early next year.

  • It will be interesting to see whether (a) Moz actually shows up or will cancel at the last minute; (b) Moz deigns to answer any questions about the recent 'Chinese' controversy or dismisses the subject with a sigh; and (c) if he does answer, will he repeat the comment, dig even deeper, or qualify what he said with something along the lines of 'well, of course I meant people who abuse animals rather than all people in China'. I am sure there may also be some news about winter shows. My guess is that Beijing will not be on the list.

Everyone bitches here about his Mozness, i.e. he's fat now, his hair isn't like it used to be, his new stuff isn't as good as the Smiths, blah, blah, blah. Ask yourself this: what artist from the early 80's is still relevant and interesting after all these years? (besides Billy idol). That's right, Morrissey! Can't wait for the new anouncements from the man!

Yes Morrissey's a legend, but no Visconti or
Jerry Finn producing, that's 1 point

and maybe a guest mucisian to get Boz,Jesse and
Alain more competing,it's allready that way, but
maybe someone new/influencial can put them to
      better work
