So you negative fools posting up here don't want Morrissey to tour (he cancels too much!), dislike his guitar player (boo hoo, where's Marr) and dislike this site?
Then why, oh why, are you even visiting and spending the time to comment you worthless, complaining fools? The Smiths are no more (it's been 20 years), Morrissey will continue to tour (which will continue to sell out) and write songs he enjoys with Jesse (who is a great addition to the band) and you'll keep visiting the site.
Strange.

The idea of a Smiths reunion does not interest me at all - I think they would look ridicuolous doing it. Morrissey is now more interesting on his own, if only he fully exploits his potential for greatness.
I'd much rather new music, with outstanding collaborators, than a Smiths reunion tour, but I would welcome Marr as a co-writer. I like Boz and Alain, and they've shown that they can produce excellent music for Morrissey, but they appear to be somewhat in a musical rut at the moment, and have been since around 1995, the odd outstanding track notwithstanding.
Chances are, though, it's just a new album with EMI and his current band - still good news in itself.

So excited if it is a new tour late fall and early winter 2011. The Swords tour was tuff, he powered through, cancelled some shows, but he did state that it was not his idea for the swords LP and the swords tour.
Proper tour, with MOZ into it and on top, can't wait if it is to be, we'll see?
