Opened with You Have Killed Me, followed by Still Ill. Nothing from Vauxhall, some stuff from Quarry (First of the Gang, Let Me Kiss You, Jesus), lots of Ringleader plus Suedehead, Reader Meet Author and Trouble Loves Me. Other Smiths were How Soon Is Now?, Girlfriend in a Coma and Stop Me was the encore. I am sure someone will be along with the full set... but this is a pretty good idea of what was played.

Anyone who saw the show--how did they do Still Ill's guitar? Bigmouth's arrangement was appropriate to the recorded version, with Boz playing acoustic and Jesse playing electric.

Hi all, I promise a more narrative version of the event in the next couple of days, complete with pictures of the line and venue. In the meantime, here's a bunch of facts I remember, some being answers to people's queries. Here you have it, in the interest of completism and tiding you all over. There's some real urgency in a lot of your questions, it's lovely.
Matt Walker was on drums. There were two green maracas sitting on the drum riser, and Morrissey picked up at least one of them and shook it during at least one song. Um, can anyone help me out on that one. Was it The Youngest Was the Most Loved? Did he play the maracas more than that?
Alain wasn't there. Boz, Jesse, Gary, Mike/Michael (Morrissey introduced him as Michael), all there. Matt was the only new musician.
Stage design: none to speak of except the drumkit. The kick drum's resonant head was tri-partite green, white, and red, much in the manner of Italy's flag. (The hole for the mic was right in the middle of the white stripe.) Also, as someone has already noted, a disco ball-esque light display turned on at the start of the set. I looked up and it wasn't an actual disco ball. There was no stage backdrop. As someone has noted above, the small size of the stage didn't appear to permit for much; I'm sure later gigs will have more stage design.
Merchandise: three shirts were available (Tiger Army had about 10 times more merch than Morrissey). My memory of the Morrissey shirts is awful, because I only looked at them briefly before the gig, but here goes. One was blue and had a scripty 'M' inside a... scripty design. There must be some technical word for it? It looked not unlike the design of an old stamp that would be used to seal letters with wax? There was also a tan shirt that had 'Ringleader of the Tormentors' on it in a box in yellow gold, similar to the album cover, but, if memory serves, not identical. The third shirt was an American Apparel ringer tee, looked like heathered brown if that makes any sense. There was a cool drawing of a drum on the front, with a picture of the Italian flag on it (a rectangular flag in the center of the round drum - different from how the kick drum looked, but same basic idea). 'MORRISSEY' was written overtop the drum and 'RINGLEADER OF THE TORMENTORS' was written beneath. The shirts were $30, $30, and $40 respectively. Unfortunately for me, the smallest available size in all 3 was a men's medium. Roomy! I think all three designs were sold in M, L, XL. The $40 American Apparel tee was sized smaller than the other two, which were of another brand.
No stage invaders. Two gentlemen went over the barrier during, I believe, Girlfriend in a Coma. No one else even got close. Not because of the security - people just didn't really try to lift each other up.
Speaking of which, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN the astonished faces of the security! I have NEVER seen so many burly men look SO baffled! I'm pretty sure they weren't really briefed about the whole Morrissey thing. Hint #1 was when one of the guards repeated over and over 'You mean HERE, as in here OUTSIDE THE VENUE?' when a fan tried to explain that people had been 'queueing here' since 5AM.
We were told not to throw anything onstage, not even flowers. 'If you have a present for Morrissey and he takes it, great. But DON'T THROW IT ONSTAGE, even if it's flowers or a card.' Harsh! A couple bouquets hit the stage when he came out, but Morrissey promptly threw them into the crowd, and remaining little bits were picked up immediately by roadies. Is Moz worried about slipping?
One fan that I met in line, who studiously listened to the entire soundcheck with me, our ears pressed up against the glass door and our respective pairs of eyeglasses ridiculously askew - he had an illustrated book about Joan of Arc, with a letter inside, that successfully made its way to Morrissey during the show. At another point, Morrissey took what appeared to be a small cardboard box from another fan.

After "At Last I Am Born" Moz took off his shirt and threw it into the audience. I couldn't see that well but I think one lucky fan managed to get it out intact. It took less than two minutes after they left the stage from the band to come back out and finish with "Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before"
Great show, I'd have liked to hear "The More you Ignore Me" but with all the other classics mixed with the excellent rarities one really can't complain.
