Terrace Stomp writes:
The film which Morrissey borrowed a still from (to use as the cover of "Meat Is Murder") is being released on DVD on September the 20th by Home Vision Entertainment.
From the DVD sleeve:
Produced at the height of the Vietnam War, Emile de Antonio’s Oscar®-nominated 1968 documentary chronicles the war’s historical roots. With palpable outrage, De Antonio ("Point of Order", "Underground") assembles period interviews with journalists, politicians, and key military personnel and international newsreel and archival footage to create a scathing chronicle of America’ escalating involvement in this divisive conflict. The savage and horrific images speak for themselves in perhaps the most controversial film of de Antonio’s career, and the film he cites as his personal favorite.

The Smiths were a work of art
on and off the stage. And it must be said that The Smith's legacy - and years of hard work by Morrissey and Marr - will last forever and ever.

If you love meat so much, good for you, I know lots of people who also like it. How's it feel to be completely unoriginal?
And yes, cows are awesome; may I suggest that next time you're slithering past a field full, you go and lay down in the middle of the herd. I'll be waiting nearby with a claxon.
