In the biography section of her website, you'll see some Smiths buttons when she talks about her teens.

As well as the two Smiths buttons in J.K. Rowling's biography on her website, there is a picture of a torn out bit of newspaper featuring an advertisment for rental in Whalley Range, which is circled in red pen.

    Being all anti-hype, I wanted to hate Harry Potter, but (damn it) I read them whilst working in a kiddies bookshop, and they're good children's books.
    To be honest, it doesn't suprise me that she's a Mozophile the way she avoids giving interviews and appearances and all. It would be awful if she put any Moz references in her work though.
    Yet, some twisted part of me would love to see something go into one of the books or the films; just imagine:
    "Look Hermione, I know it's over if I don't reel around the fountain seven times, but i've had enough of being the last of the famous international playboys."
    "But Harry, if this double decker bus crashes into us..."
    "Please please please let me get what I want for once."
    "Ok Harry, because no-one can hold a candle to you."
    "Ahh, Hermione, I know that wind swept mystical air, it means ..."
    And I'm afraid the rest has to be censored kids.

    What does she have to do or who does she have to be so that she's allowed to join the "club"?

    Morrissey fans can be so elitist sometimes, it is annoying...

  • What can I say, those Potter books are good books. J.K. was also in that T.V. show 'Importance of Being Morrissey.' That show helped him get his new cd deal. J.K. brings much needed quality P.R. to Moz.
