Lazy Dyke has posted the NME cover scan this on the general discussion message board (link):
More info on the NME site. broken also writes: NME's cover depicts Morrissey and Carl Libertine, while the newspaper proclaims Morrissey's comeback complete, following his fine performance at reading, and his Summer capped. There is a page devoted to Morrissey and "his young lions" - the likes of The Ordinary Boys, The Libs and Franz whose sound and lyrical content he so obviously influenced, following their performances on the same say at Reading/Leeds. Q meanwhile runs a feature on "the greatest songwriters" listing Morrissey and Marr up there with the very best. An entire page of fawning praise/adulation and comments from the likes of Ryan Adams accompanies the article, which also lists the 10 essential Moz/Marr moments. A curious selection indeed, including the likes of "Sweet and Tender Hooligan" and "A Rush and a Push" among the ten, but omitting many of their more widely appreciated songs. Sadly, no Morrissey solo is featured.

Morrissey, however was not happy to have Razorlight included, as he had never heard of them. To the point that he refused to pose for a picture with the lead singer. He said he was "uncomfortable with the idea".
Fair enough... (Score:1)
Moz and Carl -- nice cover. Carl always reminds me of a young Robert Evans... atypical looks for a British rock n' roller, but cool...

No "Hand in Glove" though and I'm not sure "The Boy With The Thorn in His Side" and "How Soon is Now" were listed.
My 10 essential Morrissey/Marr moments would be:
This Charming Man

How Soon Is Now

mysterouis Morrissey!!! (Score:1)
This is brilliant news and i will go and buy nME (and read it). i think Morrisey is underated. my favourite songs (by him) are (as follows...)
1. "I keep mine hidden" - because its mysterouis isnt it? he could be hiding anything but you never quiet find out. maybe its a gun or a knife, or mayb its a bunch of flowers, you can never tell with Morrissey can you, it's 'omnimous' really.
2. "Oh no, it's over" - i've got that on a tape, its a brilliant tune and its passionate, where he sings "i can feel the soil a-all over my he-e-ad" its what i would sing if someone tried to bury me alive. anyway it worked and he got out.
3. i dont know the title the title but its got an exellent tune and he sings "P-picardilly Palareh"
4. "How soon is Now?" - its got tension and its like a race against time really. i think it would be good in a film with a clock ticking and mayb a bomb about to go off and morrissey is driving through the city (los Angeles?) trying to stop it.
5. "There is a light that will never go out" - the music is very moving isnt it, and when he sings "take me out toni-i-ight" you can really imagine that you were there tonight (it's last night probaply now) listening and also driving the car while he tries to make you crash eg for xample he grabs the steering wheel and its xciting like the chase that film have you seen it "Ronan" with robert de Niro? In the video i would have it finishing with just one light on in a house at night, and its all been a dream because Morrissey has actauly stayed at home as usual, as he is the 'light' (meteophoricaly) who 'never goes out' - unlike in "How soon is Now" (above), when he did use to go out.
anyway these are just 'ideas' and your choices are eqaully valid. I hope you don't mind me saying which ones i like. no offence meant.
best wishes josh.
