so, one of the dudes that i had a crush on in high school popped up on myspace a couple of weeks ago. The guy asked to be MY friend. I accepted and wrote a short "so that's where you've been!" message on his board.
No response.
Ok. Whatever.
But he posts a general alert saying that he recently became engaged. I wrote a short congratulations, but i mainly do it to alert him that all of the ex-high school band members were on facebook and that he should check it out.
No response. But he pops up on facebook about a week later and begins making friends with all of these people. I see it and I send a friend request which he accepts.
When he got his Emmy nomination, I wrote "congratulations! it's nice to know a successful person in the industry."
No response.
Ok. Whatever. But I see that he will respond to OTHER people I went to high school with.
Tonight, I realize that I hadn't seen anything on the news feeds from him.
I check....and I notice that I've been removed as one of his friends.
So, the guy actively went and removed me as a friend? What on God's green earth is that all about? Either the dude thinks I'm actively stalking him in a love-lorn state 15 years after the fact because I left generic, friendly messages for him like I did other high school classmates, OR he saw that I made a mention of "the industry" in that post and has now decided that I'm going to try and hit him up for a job and that this must be "nipped in the bud."
Dear GOD what a self-important asshole! Who drops a person they went to high school with as a contact at the mention of "the industry"?
Nevermind what I said about that dude!
Of course, my more devilish theory is that his new fiancee saw my message, saw my picture, my single status, and said, "WHO'S SHEEEEE?????"
That would actually be sweet revenge against all of those dudes if that were the case.
Anyway, I was on the news!
Yes, there was a brief shot of me, apparently. I didn't see the news, but I saw the video on the KSAT website.

ps: watched the video, was too small to notice you in it i think, but i defo got the vibe that that Tommy Adkisson guy in it is one serious piece of shit, here's to something bad happening to him...
