What He Said

No No No, It's not for me.
This sentence I carry.
I throw it to the wind.
I carry on, burned, broken, warped but still I carry,
Because it feels better to balance and fall,
Balance and lose balance, fall, balance,
Than to stay on the ground not moving.

I crawl to the flowers when I fall.
They tempt me back up.
Evil flowers some would say.
I crawl back to you,
To offer an energetic power bar.
Anything, almost, for you,
For you, if you're there.
Are you there? Will you be?
Will I still be able to say these words and like it?

You've gone, I went, we go round in a maze,
trying to create a momentum.
Put up safety nets.
Backup plans.
Binge shortouts.
Antiseptic lifestyle is messy.
Put out the lights, sip your water, sip your water,
Someone said.
Someone kindly said.
And it made all the difference.

I like this Red.. It sounds like a hit. Not only poetry but a song.

Hugs and heart to you.

My favorite momentum was the second strophe. Very detailed and visual, like a dreamed film, a film that tells the truth. We aren't neither good nor bad. We have our fears and needs, that's all. I think the falling over the flowers was a great metaphor to express this fragility we carry with us. Surely it is a more delicate image than the gutter I mention in my last one. Flowers under someone that falls are an image of something resisting bitterness, something that has the hope of a cushion. At least, that's what I think :)
