Yo, peace out CBGB
You were pretty gross, but I had some good times in you when I was younger. Have fun in Manhattan Punk Club Heaven with Coney Island High and Brownies and all those other dives.

The New York Dolls
They are playing a free, outdoor show tomorrow afternoon practically up the street from my apartment. This is very exciting!
I hope it doesn't rain

Frowning
I'm gutted I was not there to see him play "Panic." I teared up fully just listening to the audience recording of it. Seeing "Stop Me..." in Tulsa/OKC was very moving, but "Panic" is one of two Smiths song I have for years most wanted to hear live. Here's to hoping it will make its way to North America.

Bloomsday

...Know all men...time's ruins build eternity's mansions. What means this? Desire's wind blasts the thorntree but after it becomes from a bramblebush to be a rose upon the rood of time. Mark me now. In woman's womb word is made flesh but in the spirit of the maker all flesh that passes becomes the word that shall now pass away. This is the postcreation. Omnis caro ad te veniet.
