I have been thinking about her a lot since this all has gone down. I'm putting my faith into the fact that she's got a good head on her shoulders and took the opportunity to leave before anything dangerous happened.

Higgy, I was really hoping she'd have a chance to post. She hasn't posted much lately- though neither have I- but she's the first person I ever think of when I hear New Orleans! I once knew someone who might have had her email, but he doesn't come around here anymore and cut me off ages ago, so I suppose we'll just have to wait and hope for the best.

So few of the old guard around anymore, you know? I'm as guilty as the next for not posting, but I really haven't had much to tell since my lay-off that would be of any interest here. I pray that DWGT is safe and sound, high and dry and hopefully with her loved ones. I've organized a bit of a clothing drive and shall be dropping off some donations to the Salvation Army this weekend. It'll be but a drop in the bucket, I'm afraid, but a help to someone nonetheless. Goodness knows the government certainly isn't doing enough.
