one step closer......

to living in a bubble.
I've just ordered a barrage of crap to protect me from my bed...... mattress cover, pillow encasings and an under-the-duvet, over-the-down comforter cover.... thing.....
it just freaks me out, the whole dust mite thing..... I'm feeling like a slob, like it's my fault I have dust mites. People tell me every bed has mites, but I still keep imagining bugs crawling all over me as I sleep.....
thankfully all the crap I bought is cotton. Apparently, these types of covers and encasings used to be plastic. that would've been fab......

I spent much of the day yesterday at an amusement park. I love roller coasters so much that I even put up with the dregs of society with which these parks are overrun...... I simply avoid eye contact and wash my hands frequently......

other than that, I discovered last week that I am a total and complete nerd...... (as if you all hadn't surmised that already, right?) After watching a horribly cheesy movie last sunday, I watched it again........ and again....... and then I went out and bought it...... this movie is not very good. it has more holes than a moth eaten blanket and the visuals are so overdone and grandiose..... that, well..... that I like them..... this movie has been kicked in the pants by every critic out there, but I love it all the same: the Phantom of the Opera.
I had heard about it before (obviously) but I never knew what it was about..... I totally dig the premise, though.... self-loathing deformed musical genius, with a cool hideout and love of candles falls in love with girl, teaches her to sing and wants her to stay with him.... she's got a rich young pretty boy to marry however, etc. etc.
It's strange though, because you end up rooting for the conniving, murdering, dank-dwelling mentally unstable one.....
my boyfriend suspects that the only reason I like this movie is because of Gerry Butler in a pirate shirt....... and he just may be right.......

mold? (Score:1)
Black mold, that's the killer in my living quarters. This stuff is really bad shit. The only thing I know of that kills it is bleach, bleach and water every few weeks along the walls by the baseboards and on the window casements. The spores get into the furniture and my clothes, and my dog's fur. Eugh. That stuff has been known to cause serious problems. Before I realised I had it, I got very ill from it. Chronically itchy eyes, runny nose and horrible cough, and it messes up ability concentrate too. When I couldn't breathe enough to sleep anymore I looked around in desperation and found that black mold here and there, and eventually, after talking to a neighbor about it, because she said something in the building was causing her a cough, I described to her the mold and she told me about the bleach. I'd tried to clean it, environmentally friendly, and got nowhere, but then once she told me, I set to work right away, and had to pack all my clothes into garbage bags until they were washed and dried with high heat, and bleached wherever possible and still, it just takes two weeks before my clothes start collecting those spores. It's scary.

Corn dogs and leering ride operators, I never fail to get an erection at some point.
