It was a beautiful autumn morning as I walked the children to school today. We had our first real frost of the year and the cobwebs on the trees and lamposts were all dewy and glistening like jewels in the sunshine. Dan said it was SNOGGY....I think he meant FOGGY!
It was against this beautiful backdrop of crisp morning air and fallen autumnal leaves that we spotted this at the end of our road....

What the FUCK?
I don't profess to be an expert on Foot and Mouth Disease by any stretch of the imagination but I have read enough and seen enough on the telly to know that this is NOT good!
So if you don't hear from me for a while it's because I have been quarantined in the interests of public safety! I'm sure I have nothing to worry about hey? Probably just a precaution. Anyone fancy popping round to mine this afternoon for a cup of tea and a chocolate Hobnob?...No?...thought not! If you do decide to brave it though and drop over just follow the red warning signs...you'll easily recognize me...I'll be the one in the surgical mask with a BLOODY bell hanging round my neck wailing "UNCLEAN!...UNCLEAN!"
I am, as you know, one of life's optimists always looking for a positive in any given situation, the positive in this case being that I have found yet another use for all the old carrier bags stashed in the cupboard "under the sink"....
