06:43 AM - I need advice...

Another gig fashion question for you. But this time it's not powered by shallowness- it's actually quite practical.

Being around only 5'2, and also not being able to get to King's Lynn very early, I am rather worried about not being able to see at Saturday's concert- so:

Do you think it would be reasonable to wear high(ish) heels to the gig? Or will that crucify my feet?

Oh, and also- what time will they let us in? Tickets only say '7.30', I'm assuming that's when it starts.

Hey Wildy...why don't you buy a pair of cheap plastic flip-flops which would offer comfort in the pre-show-build-up but bring a pair of killer heels in a carrier bag....still with this I hope....then when the lights go down its chuck the flip-flops...on with the heels... and HEY PRESTO matey little Wildey can tower above the throng and see Moz in all his glory!!!

I have it on very good authority that our hero may well have taken to the stage in Truro without any underware on.....so do what you have to do Wildey.....employ the use of stilts if necessary!!!

Have a great night poppet!

If I could donate half a foot to you we would be the same size. The best thing about being tall is being able to see at gigs. Have a good un anyway I'm sure you will

As you're worried about not being able to see, I'm presuming your lucky enough to have standing tickets, in which case definately forget the 7.30 entry and get there a lot earlier (depending on how long you can stand waiting in a queue) because then you're more likely to get to the very front of the stage. Every Morrissey gig I've been to, there's always a mad rush once they open the doors and start letting in the queue, in which every one sprints across the hall to assume a position at the very front. If you get there after 7.30 you won't have much chance of doing this and will be stuck at the back somewhere. Consequently, if you have trouble running in high heels, then I'd leave them behind. Bear in mind though, once at the front, or anywhere near it, you're gonna get crushed to hell, so if you're in any way claustraphobic, or delicate, then maybe you should hang back. Oh yeh, also make sure you don't drink too much as if you go to the toilet, you won't get back to the front!

If you have seated tickets, then it doesn't matter when you arrive as your place is allocated. 7.30 is just the warm up stuff and Morrissey won't be on until about an hour and half after that.

Hope you have a great gig!
