Sleeping on roads...
Wow I haven't written in here for a long time.. And I'm too damn lazy right now to write much. Sooo I will simply post some lyrics from a genius singer/songwriter Neil Halstead.
He is of course from Mojave 3 and before that Slowdive, but recently released a solo album. I wonder if there's any morrissey fans out there who adore them as well? hmmm
I was lucky to see him recently at The Largo (hollywood) And it was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. A few songs nearly brought me to tears.. he has a beautiful voice i must say. Picked up his new album at the show from Neil himself :smiles: and i'm still in a bit of a daze about that so more lyrics and ranting to come :-) Mojave 3::
Prayer for the paranoid
Iīll send you a letter From the frontline Please send applause And some good advice You were born with a compass A map on your table Tell me how did you find out Your bearings were wrong
Just pray for us pray for sunshine These days are cold and Iīm missing you The city is no place to lose Ah, But I never thought I could choose It was plain from the start I was playing for time
I need laughter and love some special drug I need ciggarettes
Thereīs killers behind us Devils ahead Send protection I will drown in this city I will drown in this trench Built for us And the only thing left Yeah the only thing left Is the running
And these clouds keep on rolling and I , I donīt know why Take this guitar out of my hands I surrender This town donīt need drunkards Or singers of bad poetry Thay need dancing and drugs and laughter and we donīt have them
Just pray for us Pray for sunshine These days are cold And Iīm missing you
This letter was meant for your eyes Destroy it and then Just go hide Youīre the only thing left That makes any sense Please donīt blow it

oh
I forgot to add that i bought some cds yesterday ;-) I got Travis' new single "sing" But they have two different singles so of course i had to buy both. It sucks because they are import singles (more expensive and i'm poor dammit!) and only had 1 song on each cd the i don't already have. Still i collect all their singles So i couldn't help but to snatch them up . They do a cool version of Queens "Killer queen" that alone makes it worth it. Well I also got Mojave 3 "ask me tommorow".. I just got into them recently but i like them alot...Seems like every band i get into is OLLLLD or just old news. Oh well.. If i like them then it doesn't matter! this rambling in the journal is sort of fun.. I may even write more later ;-P

Hmm
Wow, I haven't written in a long time. Way too much drama going in in my life lately but I'll spare whoever is bored enough to read these things with the details :-) I just rememered thiss dream i had last night that included Morrissey. IT was real scary.. I walked in this little club and there he was. He Had long hippie hair And was wearing a tie dye shirt with a white suit jacket over it!! After singing a few familiar songs which i don't remember he said " this is a song which has never ben heard by the human ear" And the band started to play this really weird music that sounded just like a song That radiohead Would do (kid A style) I Freaked out and ran out screaming.. nooo!!! Haha The end. I really do hope none reads these things because then they would know what a freak i am for really having this dream ;-p Other then that.. I Am moving in late aug. and starting school in sept. eeek and it's 110 degrees outside. ~C

3 days until graduation..
And counting! I am actually a bit nervous about this now. I mean in High school I have been REALLY lazy And now I actually have to make a future for myself. I Won't be going off to some University anytime soon But I do plan to transfer to one in a few years . That seems so far away to me though.. Right now I just need a Job!! AND a car. But unfortunately I live in the boonies and there ARE no available jobs! GRRR... NOONE is hiring.
Hmm Well that's all my rambling for now. Maybe more later. Ps. This 110 degree heat really sucks!
