People need to read more. Seriously, I know far too much about television shows I've never even seen thanks to slack-jawed knuckle draggers going off about utterly forgettable characters from terribly forgettable shows.

But you know, even they can be forgiven. Indeed, however those who can't be forgiven are commercial quoting cretins in Family Guy pajama bottoms, because that's just going too far. Truly, such people need to perish via beats from a rather large plasma!

I long for the days when poets were rock stars...

OMG you were staying 2 mins from my home, BB actually worked in that casino for about a year! Oh I just realized there are 2 on the north end Yellowhead and the one on Fort Road.
We would have met you if contacted!

It's a shady game and I want to lose, please let me lose it's nothing to you...
Poets are rock stars in my world! (Score:1)
I agree with you 1000%. My heroes are all writers/intellectuals. I have never even seen an episode of Family Guy and have no plans to ever do so. I have never seen South Park or The Simpsons either--except for a brief segment of SP that featured Richard Dawkins. It was pathetic.

I can say with unabashed snobbery that I am proud to have abstained from filling my head with such dribble.
