A journal entry...

01:44 PM

So there i was this afternoon, just folding some laundry while listening to Southpaw Grammar.

The last song, "Southpaw" came on. I looked at my father's baby picture while it was playing. My wonderful yet troubled dad died early last year from cancer.

As i was looking at his baby picture, the lyrics; "a sick boy, should be treated, so easily defeated, i just don't understand".

I started wailing.

No, i don't understand, either.

  • I'm sorry to hear about your Father. What you said really touched me. Made my heart ache, too.

Morrissey's lyrics always remind me that I never walk alone. I see that you feel this way, too, just from what you wrote here today. I'm just sorry it was on such a sad note.

Yes!:) These things take time.. As all does in life and maybe even death.
No One alive really knows till we are there.
