Sleepy

05:56 PM

Today I just couldn’t do my homework. I was in the library reading a book and I was falling asleep. I could only read for 5 minutes before falling asleep. I alternated between closing my eyes for a moment and then attempting to read for as long as possible before falling asleep again I kept doing this over and over again. I tried to do my math homework 30 minutes before class started. I managed to get one problem done. I graphed a linear equation. That was my accomplishment for the entire day. After that, I went to my Algebra class and I just copied whatever the teacher wrote on the chalkboard. I reasoned that I could figure it out later. I just don’t feel like doing any higher thinking today. I slept for about 7 hours last night. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

  • . . . here we call it '5th week syndrome'. It's not a very apt name: it can (and does) occur in any week of term.

I hope you feel better soon. Meanwhile, just blame algebra: I always found it had that effect.
