Phew. It's been a few days hasn't it? I've just been too busy. Ooh lot's of insignificant crap to report!

1) The arrangements for the new flat are going just perfectly, we just need Rallen to find a job in London now. We have a 6 to 10 week window so it's pretty bloody cool really. We're sorting furniture and decor and ooooooh allsorts!! God I SO can't wait, this is the best thing ever! I'm actually more excited about it than when I bought my house! Honestly!

2) Saw my closest group of friends last night, hadn't seen some of them for 2 months. Told them about getting the flat with Rallen and they were delighted for me. They said he sounds a wonderful caring friend and they can't wait to meet him. AAAAAWWWWWWWWWW! I can't even express how happy I am about it all.

3) Work is going ok. Went down to Sidcup yesterday to work on some questions with the other trainees, which was surprisingly productive.

4)When I went out last night I wore a new outfit. A fitted chiffon maroon indian-print top (with a big of cleavage), a short grey skirt, metal belt and huge black goth boots. I felt good and when my friends saw me they all went mad! They told me I'd lost weight and I looked great and really happy. I told them - it's down to a new optimism and hope for the future I've never possessed. And it's largely down to the wonderful Rallen, my prozac lol.

5) Bought a new dress today. This is significant on many levels. (If you're bored please feel free to skip to the next journal). Firstly, I've not owned a dress for 10 years, that being the time I began my rapid ascent from a size 16 to a size 24. This one is black, very fitted, sleeveless and gorgeous. It's kinda gothic/bohemian style, especially when I wear it with my fishnets, black goth boots, spiked collar and crucifix. I felt so good in that outfit! Add a temp tattoo and some purple nail varnish and that's me sorted for the Star and Garter next month! I also bought some new make up the other day, and I'm making an effort with my hair. I had just let myself go a bit and looked tired and plain all the time. Now I'm feeling back up to speed.

6) Some of my friends are in distress recently but are shutting themselves away in it. M and H please get in touch if you need me. I know it's comfortable to shut yourself away but it's so destructive, and talking is always a good distraction, even if you're not talking about what's bothering you. So remember I'm here, please.

7) Oh how could I forget! Rallen is coming to stay for the weekend! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! We've not actually met face to face yet and so he's gonna come down and we're gonna see the flat, buy some furniture from a house sale and generally be together and look round London. I can't express how excited I am about it. I've not even seen a photo so it's gonna be weird.

8) I'm sure there's something else but I can't remember!

I was meant to phone the gorgeous Melissa last night at 10pm, but my friends birthday drinks was a last minute thing (as always) so I didn't get home till 10.45pm and I missed her. Mel, I'll phone again this week I promise. Can't wait to speak to you hun.

Just counting down to the 11th now, can't wait to dance the night away to Moz, meet the divine Kes and know I've handed my first lot of coursework in! YAAAAAAAAAY!
