Well that's it then. It's over. I have achieved in 2002. I feel good about it, although some shit things have happened to me. Let's take stock:

Good

Got great job
Lost weight
Got good hairdo
Improved dress sense
Feel MUCH more confident
Got help for depression
Did the casual sex thing
Made some good friends
Discovered the chat and journals on Moz-Solo
Saw Morrissey 4 times
Went abroad for the first time in 10 years

Bad

God very depressed
Had unprotected sex
Friends continued to let me down
Still no boyfriend, and not a single date all year
Best friend treated me like shit
Met poss 'one' but he had gf
Met another poss 'one' but he has a lovely gf and is actually a complete bastard underneath the act

So it's now new year's eve, and I'm optimistic for the new year. I have some resolutions.

1) Have lots of sex (safe)
2) Lose 2 stone (30 pounds for the Americans!)
3) Don't trust people so easily
4) If i want to do it, i'll do it.

That's it so far. Overall i feel good. Sure i'm lonely, but i'm finding i enjoy my own company more and more these days. I'm discovering that my newly-found confidence is making me more likeable to people. People really respond to me which is cool.
