I forgot to say, to be fair to my doctor, she wants me to see the counsellor. Grrrr. Fair do's to her, it's the right thing to do and I respect her for it. Too many doctors chuck a prescription at you and leave you to get on with it. She really tried to persuade me, and I promised her I'd think about it.

I tried to tell her it wasn't worth it to me, as I know why I'm depressed and there's no solution, but then I guess most people say that. How do you explain to someone that you're sad because 99.9% of people are cruel and selfish, society is intrinsically flawed, everyone I meet lets me down, and I KNOW I'll never ever be truly happy? The old 'human condition' thing I guess. Ah well.

AND Alan Partridge isn't as good. Bugger ;o)

  • It was funny, when I was sixteen they diagnoised me with depression and anxiety. All because I used to fall asleep in my high school classes. And they tried every medication. They never worked. One would make me too dizzy, the other would keep me up all night. So finally they forced me to see the dreaded counselor. And it actually helped so much. So I mean I understand, how you feel about talking to someone, but it really might help!
                        By the way, I was curious are you a big fan of Absolutely Fabulous? My friend and I try to catch it on BBC every chance we get. By it's rarely on. I find it hilarious! My friend and I are so Pats and Eddy it's insane. Me more Eddy, I think it's the fashion designer in me.
