I left the North, I travelled South.... Hello! lou, 30, living in North London with the luscious Rallen, but originally from the North West. A girl with a thorn in my side, my main loves are good food, fine wine, BDSM and cats. Semi-retired from Moz-solo, I check in occasionally to check the journals of good friends. Not drowning anymore...

Marriage, music and strap-ons

05:36 AM

A cool day yesterday - football, sex and shopping. Watched the Leeds v Liverpool match which was really good although we should have won it. Headed into town and to Harmony, my favourite shop d'amour. I finally indulged my massive penis envy by buying a strap-on harness. Well it was so lovely, it has black velvet and a corsety bit at the back. Haven't got a dildo for it yet as none of them seemed to fit. I've always wanted one, but never thought I'd get the opportunity to use one really. However in the last couple of years a couple of guys have asked me if I'd use one on them, and a couple of girls have said they'd love me to do them! Anyway a few weeks ago I saw this really lovely one and thought it was so me, so I took the plunge. Rallen's very impressed, although I won't be using it on him! He's definitely the dominant one in our sexual relationship!

Also went to Fopp, the fantastic record shop. Bought some DVDs - Donnie Darko, Louis Theroux, Victoria Wood and Caligula, and CDs - Alternative 80s, Dark Side of the 80s, Queen's Night at the Opera and Best of Soft Cell. All for a rather bargainous £36. Ace. I do LOVE early Queen, don't know if I've ever said that. They were my Dad's favourite band so until I was about 8 I didn't really know any other music existed! I adore all their early stuff pre-Radio Gaga etc, it's so melodic, operatic and quite heavy. Fabulous stuff. God I sound like Biffo now.

As it seems to be a popular journal topic, no I didn't propose to Rallen yesterday! We've only actually been a couple for 2 months, although it's a year this month since we first met and consummated our relationship! More importantly, I don't believe in marriage. I'm an atheist, a feminist, and quite a modern kind of person. Marriage to me represents the enslavement of woman, religious conformity and social conformity - all of the things I'm against! Apart from all this it takes a good 5 years to get to know someone properly - I know that from my 8 year relationship. Anyway Rallen knows I love him from the way I treat him, I would hope a signed declaration in a pavlova dress isn't required.

Anyway that's me for today. SOOOOOOOOO sorry if I bored anyone being too boring or alternatively too salacious! Apparently both are tedious for Mr Stevenson. Dear god, where DO these people come from? My money's on Kent or Surrey actually.

Love to all,

Lou xx

  • Theroux is god, well I like him, but Queen, yuck! Terrible, I remember a school trip to Germany where all was played was their bloody greatest hits! Terrible! So pompous and nauseasting (spelling?) And as for that musical... I think I'd rather top myself, my how far has Ben Elton fallen, the hypocritical wanker. Shame about the reds, and I didn't even get to see it :@
