I left the North, I travelled South.... Hello! lou, 30, living in North London with the luscious Rallen, but originally from the North West. A girl with a thorn in my side, my main loves are good food, fine wine, BDSM and cats. Semi-retired from Moz-solo, I check in occasionally to check the journals of good friends. Not drowning anymore...

So dear readers, I'm afraid the sickened lovey-dovey wonderfulness continues.

Yesterday started rather fabulously with rising at yet another reasonable hour and a fried egg and bacon buttie. Blissful. Hopped on the tube to Russell Square which is in Bloomsbury. London's squares are just so lovely and beautiful and vital, all towns should have them. Anyway we walked round it in the beautiful winter sun with the sky a pale blue and just looked at the trees and talked. We then sat outside the Starbucks opposite the British Museum (yes folks, they get everywhere!) and had a cappucino. The British museum is so amazing, this vast chunky building hemmed in by all these London shops and flats.

We then walked on through Bloomsbury, looking into secondhand book shops and map shops, and onto Holborn and Covent Garden. We just walked through the little side streets, finding all sorts of unusual shops. We even discovered a little coffee shop/erotic book shop! Unfortunately it was closed but we'll get there! We went into a fab trendy army-gear shop in Covent Garden and I got an ace khaki fitted army jacket. It's like it was cut just for me, it really accentuates my waist, hips and tits. Ace!

After a quick browse in Fopp we walked through Soho, and the not very red-light red light district. It's hardly Amsterdam. We then walked through the more secluded parts of Soho and onto Oxford Street. Even with half-empty pavements it was like sheep city. You just want to scream into people's faces 'hello? spacial awareness!' Anyway, got a orange swirly indian-type top from M&S to relieve my need to buy clothes (I've been good this month). We then went back to Russell Square for a nice little stroll in the late afternoon.

With the darkness drawing in we headed to Angel, Islington and my favourite bar Cuba Libre. Had 2 pina coladas and 2 margheritas in quick succession. The wonderful tranquility of the bar, our state of relaxation and some cocktails to oil the wheels resulted in some frank and personal conversation. These conversations I find so enlightening and vital, and even though they can be painful they help clarify feelings and history and all that stuff.

Feeling rather merry we headed back up to Holloway on the bus, being rather naughty on the way. If you've never had your boob groped on the no 43, I can highly recommend it. So we went to our favourite restaurant, the fab El Molino. Rallen somehow persuaded me to share a bottle of Rjoca which turned out to be a damn fine idea. We had the tapas, and went a bit mad and had chorizo in wine, mussels in cream/onion sauce, kidneys in wine, deep fried camembert, cheese ham and chorizo slices, and hake and prawn stuffed peppers. It was so fucking fab! We just took our time and compared the tastes and textures, and talked about everything. We talked a lot about the last year and our personalities and how our relationship had developed. We also discussed how we felt now and what we want in the short term.

Eventually we finished everything and decided to leave, staggering home rather drunkenly. As soon as I sat down and rested my head I was off!!! An hour later I woke up and went to bed, and Rallen said he'd follow. 2 hours later I woke up and he was still on the net. I went schitz! It's slightly comical now at how much I went off but at the time I was sooooo mad! I'm not going to go into the whys and wherefores now as it's personal but I felt a bit abandoned. It's very tiring having massive pissed rants at 3am I can tell you LOL.

Anyway all's sorted now and I'm feeling good, despite having a really shit day at work and twisting my knee.

That's it! Thanks to Nats and David and everyone else for their support.

Love

Lou x
