Northern Bird
(email not shown publicly)

I left the North, I travelled South.... Hello! lou, 30, living in North London with the luscious Rallen, but originally from the North West. A girl with a thorn in my side, my main loves are good food, fine wine, BDSM and cats. Semi-retired from Moz-solo, I check in occasionally to check the journals of good friends. Not drowning anymore...

OK so I've been really crap recently! Just no time or concentration to write a proper journal. I'm feeling rather successful today as I am trying to select my new company car (Vectra I think) and I bought my first designer handbag - just call me Carrie. It's a Jasper Conran, it's kinda 50s style and it's fabulous. Yes, now I'm successful and (soon to be) rich, I'm selling out and becoming a twat. Actually I hate Vectras (see previous entries) but I have to choose a Vauxhall and I want one with a CD player. As for the handbag, well I do carry it around all day every day and it's QUALITY. Don't worry readers, I'm still insecure and mixed up, and horny! Nothing will change, you just watch.

Anyway the S&G. Started off well with copious sex in the hotel then off to dinner with the very luscious Squirrelheid and that hunk of loveliness Wardie. Ate in one of those chain Italians and it was rather nice actually. Highlight of the meal was Wardie eying the house white we'd just purchased and saying 'that's Italian for Blue Nun' just as the waitress walked past. PMSL funny as fuck. Then met the sweetie that is Mullet - what a cutie. I just wanted to hug him to death! Headed on down to the very glamorous S&G, having applied the flea spray liberally. Was greeted by the very gorgeous Karen/Bee's Knees fresh over from the states. She was so nice, it's a shame we only had that evening to chat. Also met the glamorous Silicon Carne and the very wonderful Deano. It was such a good night, a wonderful atmosphere and lots of friendly conversation and affection.

The rest of the weekend was wonderful, Rallen's parents are so adorable and I feel like it's my home there. Who knows maybe I'll end up living up there one day.

Since then I've been working and have learned loads more and feel ready to start my job proper now. It's been hard work but I feel good for it. They've still not told me which office they're putting me in, which is just typical of their shitty attitude. I'm seeing the boss tomorrow and my mind will be spoken, god help him. They'd just better tell me in the next week or they will be hell to pay.

Anyway I'm tired and not very eloquent so I'll leave it at that for now.

Love,

GDx

  • CD players in cars is so 1990s. You have to keep up with the times, especially if you're a fully qualified professional! What on earth are clients going to think? They'll talk about you at their various coffee mornings and community watch meetings.

"Ooh, see that Northern Bird, that riff-raff, she has a CD player in her car!", they'll say. And everyone else will be shocked, appalled and horrified.
