I left the North, I travelled South.... Hello! lou, 30, living in North London with the luscious Rallen, but originally from the North West. A girl with a thorn in my side, my main loves are good food, fine wine, BDSM and cats. Semi-retired from Moz-solo, I check in occasionally to check the journals of good friends. Not drowning anymore...

Tea and glasses

02:00 PM

What a day Moz fans!!!

Started wonderfully with a nice lie-in and cuddling. Then we headed out to Saaaaaaarrrrrrrf Lahndan, London Bridge to be exact as I'd found a brillian optician on the net and needed to try some frames on. Found some really wicked Alain Mickli ones, but of course chose the most expensive frames in the shop!! Still they were only £325 which is bargainous as they're well over £400 everywhere else. Three years I've had these current frames, and it's taken a year to find new ones.

We then walked in light snow to the George Inn, which is a 16th century coach-house. Had a drink then got a call and text (thanks Deano and Pins) alerting me to the early sale of Moz tickets!!! Aaaggghhhh! Desperately looked for a net cafe but were there any?? The fucking things are EVERYWHERE but not when you need one? I hate South London. So ended up in this fucking internet phonebox trying to buy these damn tickets!!! Got really great seats but it wouldn't process my payment. Resisted the temptation to smash all the glass in the phonebox and said fuck it.

Went to Borough Market, been meaning to go for ages. It was really spectacular, loads of exotic meats, cheese, bread, cakes, chocolates etc etc. Wonderful. We spent loads of money there and had a great venison sausage sandwich each. Then went onto the Tea & Coffee museum which was quite an experience (and Rallen's idea of heaven - he's a total tea whore)! It was so camp, just like some Victoria Wood sketch! Pink walls and plastic flowers on the tables, ace. Rallen had a darjeeling and I had lapsang soochong, which is an acquired taste really. We had a wander round, more tea then headed off home.

I was in a really filthy mood on the tube about my lost Moz tickets. I'd so hate to have shit tickets, I've always got decent ones before. I dashed home and eventually managed to get tickets in the second-best block so am now well happy. Deano also told me about the official aftershow party so I got tickets for that too. Woo hoo! Feeling happier now.

What was so ace about today was the way me and my boy got on. We just have such a laugh and are so in tune with each other. He's fucking adorable. We're great friends and have so many shared loves and interests, it's amazing. We talked a lot over tea about our plans and stuff and it's all very exciting.

Loved up,

Lou x

  • You sound so much in balance, it really also has an effect - or should I say affect? - on me. I'm just so pleased for you! Thanks for wishing that we could meet in Manchester but we'll surely be connected through the phone!

  • Honestly, how boring can one person be?

    Tea?

    Spectacles?

    Cuddling?

    Lying in?

Really...how dull is that? I know it's your life and you are happy but really why post that on the net? It makes you look ridiculous. I am genuinely not being cruel for the sake of it but surely these kind of entries belong in a written journal as they are only of any value to you and any children you may have.

Of course now you can attack me for reading it in the first place..."Why keep on reading if it's that boring?" "Why comment if all you have to say is negative things?" or some other such comment. The answer is I don't know, I guess I am just mean and small minded.

Many of your entries are filled with salacious tit-bits, heartfelt opinion and explosive rage...this was just tedious...surely even you must acknowledge that? Read it again...it is like a less interesting Bridget Jones...and that is really saying something.

Spare us any more entries about your "lovely" "relationship"...or trips to museums that appeal only to the very dull or those who are trying too hard to be "wacky".
