We had a good long chat. I'm still hurt and my faith is badly damaged, but both he and I am clear it's the last chance. Here it is, set in history:

LAST CHANCE!!

So we'll see what the next month brings. It's sink or swim for both of us. Although I love him so much I think he realises that I won't take any more, I'm quite prepared to walk away. It's a matter of self respect and survival. And even if he does stick to his side of the bargain he still has ground to make up for the hurt. I hope he comes through.
