Yesterday was the Jewish wedding. I've never been to anything like it before, it was black tie too so it was quite special. It was at a top hotel in Mayfair. You could tell it was Jewish - all perms and sparkly clothes hehe.

The ceremony was pretty cool, fairly informal but lots of Hebrew. My friend (the groom) looked happy but I noticed he didn't look into his brides eyes at all. I hope it'll be ok. He's been voicing his severe doubts to me for weeks but he was trapped, a Jewish wedding once started can't be cancelled.

Anyway the main thing was the amazing food!!! Woah! There was an hour-long reception after the ceremony which was loads and loads of beautiful nibbles being passed around on silver trays. After that was the meal! So much food that there was dancing in between each course! Wonderful. At the end of the day it was a lot of fun with my work friends but I wouldn't like to do it too often. They're such conventional people, I don't belong.
