God I have SUCH a headache. A wonderful combination of unsettled sleep, dehydration, worry, air con and not eating for about 20 hours. Arse.

Well it was the day I showed my big assignment to the Big Boss. You know, the one I'm meant to have spent 10 weeks on but spent 3 days on? Yeah that one. He was really pleased with it. I'm so relieved but I'm also scared that this luck will run out. I can't be THAT intelligent. I'm not the cleverest girl in the world (alas another Moz-Solo girl holds that title). I'm meant to work tonight but my head kills. Maybe I'll get up early tomorrow....

I've been thinking about a relationship in my life today. I'm not sure what it is or where it's going. Or rather, I'm beginning to wake up to exactly what it is and where it's going. As usual, I think I'm a fill-in. But that's ok. As long as I know and don't kid myself.

Ooooh in other news!!! I HAVE A DATE NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, really!!! My first date in 10 years (or the 2 years 9 months since I've been single). And yes people, I met him on the net - Yahoo Personals to be exact. He sent me a hilarious message 2 1/2 weeks ago and I just couldn't resist replying. Well he didn't disappoint with the next message and he commented that I was 'rather fab', enclosing his email addy. So we exchanged an email each, which again was really funny and he sounded cool, so I added him to my msn messenger.

Soooooo Sunday we spoke for 3 hours then about an hour and a half yesterday. It didn't put me off. In fact, he's ace really. But not in a scary i'm-not-good-enough-for-him way, in a oooh-i-want-to-get-to-know-you way. Apart from him living SAAAARF of the river, he's ideal. Same age, same height, EXCELLENT comedy credentials, acceptable music (i remember he said REM), good-looking and a Gemini - my perfect match!

So after the psychological tennis we arranged a date!!! Next Wednesday! AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH. Actually I'm not freaking about it, he seems so nice. I'm rather looking forward to some nice conversation, shared humour and mild flirting. A proper date!!! Not desperate for sex or love or validation, just getting to know someone I like and who likes me.

YAY FOR ME!!!!
