I'm ill at the moment friends. I have a horrific cold/throat infection/spawn of satan living within me. This has resulted in a very sore throat, blocked sinuses, sneezing, headache and a painful cough. Oh and no cigarettes for 6 DAYS! Anyway, point being that I was in bed with my beloved one last night, and woke up a few times having horrible drawn out coughing fits, therefore keeping us both awake. Now did my beloved: a) leave the room to sleep elsewhere b) tell me to shut the fuck up c) sigh loudly, tut and roll over (like my ex used to) or d) sympathise, ask if I was ok and stroke my skin. It was d. What a wonderful wonderful boy he is. I felt so loved and looked after, I felt like crying. I'm so very lucky. He may not be 'mine', but I still have him and that means everything.

I'm going before I make myself vomit.
