Northern Bird
(email not shown publicly)

I left the North, I travelled South.... Hello! lou, 30, living in North London with the luscious Rallen, but originally from the North West. A girl with a thorn in my side, my main loves are good food, fine wine, BDSM and cats. Semi-retired from Moz-solo, I check in occasionally to check the journals of good friends. Not drowning anymore...

This story is old....

Don't you HATE it when you can't explain your feelings? It's so weird, I can't articulate how I feel about this situation because I just don't KNOW. And don't you hate it when you are dreading something and just CANNOT deal with it but you know it's about to happen anyway? And this thing will make you miserable and desperate and unhappy but you can't escape from it. Fuck. It's not even fair, this shouldn't even be happening and if people weren't so completely thoughtless it wouldn't be.

Arse :o(

  • Ya, it's crap. I've been burgled, and it was traumatizing. Hasn't happened lately (knock on wood).

I caught one of the people involved in the act, one time, and I immediately felt sorry for her. She was just an animal. She must have been under 18. I was an animal like that too, in my early teens, so I guess that's why I could relate. I asked her if she was alright, and asked her if she wanted me to call her a taxi. She was baffled by that, and just stood there in the back yard, until I pivoted round and went inside. She had been unscrewing the window frame with a screwdriver. Whoever built that window wasn't too bright. Another time, some guy who I am sure was casing to see if anyone was home, so he could break in, came claiming to be a Jehovah's witness, distributing flyers. Ya, sure, to the back door of a basement. Uh-huh. I said to him "Do you know what it feels like to be robbed?" He played innocent, but he wasn't convincing in the least. He just stood there, like the girl had, until I broke it off and shut the door. If the guy had attacked me, there were a few things around I could have grabbed.
...to somewhere civilized, and maybe I'll even arrive...

  • Hey...

I have a friend who woke up to some man trying to get in her open window. she asked him what he was doing and they ended up having a long conversation while he hung half in her window. she was 8 months pregnant. dumb broad. my exgirlfriend broke in my house and stole $800 from my mom and precious italian jewwelry from my dad then she met me at a bookstore and asked me if i was ok before i even told her what happened. it's an awful, violating feeling and it sucks. these people who rob are usually fucked up drug addicts or really sad, desperate individuals. little did that person know what they were doing to you guys...to him it was just cash. it's pretty fucked up.

    we should talk soon, lady...

    love,
    melissa
