So, I was doing quite well with the old mentalness. I'd been quite happy for a fairly long period, but I'd noticed I was a bit overly happy, a bit over loud and boisterous. I suspected a low was on the horizon.
I thought I'd staved it off on the bank holiday Monday after Easter by staying in bed, but I hadn't quite managed it.
It crept up on me today.
Typical! I am going on holiday to Italy in about fifteen minutes.
Well, I will not be beaten.
I will go on holiday and I will have a good time, despite my current feelings of abject misery and desolation.
I will be fine.
I always am.
After 15 years of living with it, I think I can handle it.
Still, I wouldn't have minded some better timing!
So, off to Italy, for a week's coach tour with my cousin. I have packed my bible to help me get through it and will be praying regularly.
But you know what I am looking forward to the most?
Going to Pizzeria Monte Carlo so I can have my photo taken in the same place as Morrissey!

Shame Morrissey wasn't also taking lunch...you could have shared a bowl of spaghetti....
