Having seen Smiths' recent attempts to re-invent himself as JacquesTheLad, I thought it would be for the best if I were to post again. Although I don't have much to say, as the situation regarding socialities and distress has not changed so much since the last one.

However, I did go out to a club last night. Oh yes. I socialised! There was a story regarding a couple of girls as well, but I shan't describe it on the journal. No, you'll have to wait either for the forthcoming autobiography, or indeed for the DVD.

I bought "Unknown Pleasures" and "Permanent" by Joy Division today, which takes my number of albums to four, adding to "Still" and "Closer". There's a slight chance that Ian Curtis was more influential than Morrissey, despite being around for a much lesser time. But anyway, that's another discussion.
