Just thought I'd pay a wee bit of tribute to my good friend, BWTT, in the subject.

Yesterday, after university, I met up with one of the guys from work for a quick drink when he finished. Of course, one leads to two, two to three, and before you know it you're out until 3am in the morning. I spewed for the first time with a drink-related problem last night. Eight hours of drinking does it to me, I think. I can't stand Aftershock.

I woke up in a panic today, thinking I'd lost my debit card. Alas, it was in my jacket pocket. I'm lucky, for I wouldn't have had a clue where to look for it. I even made it on time for my lecture today, and did some work. I'm impressing and shocking myself with my workrate of late (as in it's actually increased beyond "non-existant").

Three weeks until Christmas (two weeks until I wind up at university until January 13, 2003), and Jacques hasn't done any Christmas shopping yet. Nor have I (or do I intend to) written out any Christmas cards. It's a sign of my goodwill over the festive period. I don't expect to receive any. Which suits me fine, I'm more concerned about birthday cards.

I may have a tirade soon. I'm really sickened by some people. Honestly, they just bring me down. Yes, Jacques is getting old, sick and tired of the bullshit. I'm now a journal veteran - right up there with the likes of BlueGirl, Biffo, Smiths and several others who started journals, deleted them and then restarted. It's tiring stuff.
