I'm now fighting wars on two fronts, dear reader. Going to university every day is now becoming more of an ordeal than usual (and I'm not just talking about having to leave the house at 7.30am). The aforementioned parasites of society (the firefighters) have partaken in the second installment of their strike, despite the government having upped their offer to 16% over two years rather than 11%. It's sickening. So, not only am I risking the fear of fire whilst travelling on the underground, I am also living under the terrorisation of the al-Qaeda apparently unleashing cyanide on underground stations. It was only London to start with, but now they are targetting Glasgow it seems, due to the fact that security is less severe. I thought they'd struck today, but alas it was a false alarm - just a very smelly carriage. I'll live. I think I'll end with a wee song I wrote today. I hope you like it. She's got another fantasy Collects the covers off her magazines She got the nickname "Porta Bubble Joan" She loved to have her little fantasies Police are looking round at twenty-three She got the nickname "Porta Bubble Joan" Everybody wants to be the carnival queen We all read the books

Very good, but (Score:1)
Somewhere on the water-front
Johnny's hiding with a gun
Swears he'll shoot any man who tells his story -
he ain't sorry for what he's done.
He broke into a drug store
Just to cure a daily need.
He didn't mean to shoot the guard,
But he was blinded by greed.
Oh, Johnny, Oh Johnny.
Oh, Johnny, Oh, Johnny.
See that nun - she's his sister,
She doesn't know that he's gone bad.
And when they told it to his Poppa
It drove the old man mad.
Just like his Momma warned him,
From her dying bed,
It's alright to lose your heart,
But never lose your head.
Oh, Johnny, Oh, Johnny.
Oh, Johnny, Oh, Johnny.
Lookout! (Guitar solo)
Now the cops have got him surrounded
And he doesn't have a hope.
He wonders how he could be in so much trouble
Over just a little dope.
5 to 1 he gets away
They're the odds I'm gonna give.
5 to 4 they blast him away,
3 to 1 he's gonna live.
Oh, Johnny, Oh Johnny.
Oh, Johnny, Oh Johnny,
Oh, Johnny, you better run.
Back in the alley where he was slain,
I thought I heard something move.
Inside a trash-can lay a heart and chain,
The picture had been removed.
Just another juiced up junkie,
Looking for a bed.
It's alright to lose your heart,
But never lose your head.
