I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

Where is our boy?

10:48 AM

I was wondering as to the whereabouts of a certain H.Devil. It would appear that he hath disappeared off the face of the journal community. And why? Who knows.

But anyway, enough about that rubbish. Today, I missed a GREAT chance to meet up with BlueGirl. Sadly, I'm not in town, she phoned when I was sleeping. I could make it into town but I have no means of contacting her other than e-mail. So unless you read this journal entry, love, it looks like we're missing each other AGAIN. And why? I'm not working tomorrow, so I could meet up with her then, if it's not too late...Another chance sadly lost...

So, should I keep my latest tirade under wraps, or bring it to the fore? Well, I'll start a semi-grumble on this entry - the sheer ignorance of some people. I'll be the first to admit that I do not have the greatest of manners at times, but I'm pretty damn sure I'd take responsibility for my actions. Some of the people on here seem adamant on blaming everything and anything for their problems and deficiencies, instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. It's sickening.

The sad part of it is that they seem to take a pop at ME for such things! They think they can saunter up, post any old crap on their journal, and because some people disagree with my views, they'll get away with it. I mean, people who can't even spell "grammar" correctly (and this from a university student, as well) are either lacking some serious English skills or watching too much Frasier. They come up and say "sorry, I don't study English at university" or some shit like that. This is BASIC, folks. We're not expecting 30,000 words of creative genius. What I do expect is a decent grasp of your own language. If it was an Italian or Russian student or something like that, it's acceptable. From an American, it's disgraceful.

I can understand sloppiness in instant messages, where one is typing fast in the form of a natural conversation. But on a journal entry, which should be kept for a long time, you should really be taking more care. It can't be a simple typing error, it must be sheer lack of understanding. Which is worrying.

So there's another qualm. Crucify me at your own will.
