Not a lot has happened lately (nothing new there then), but I think I'll just write a journal entry for the hell of it. Maybe it'll give yo usome valuable insight into my mind. Then again, you'll probably have clicked that "back" button before even reading this message, if you even bothered to click on the link bearing my name in the first place.

Yesterday, I went into town with my mother to hire a kilt for my forthcoming trip to France. The kilt is necessary, you see - I'm going to do some voluntary work, helping the sick/elderly, who I believe are mainly wheelchair-bound. So I was glad to have that sorted out, as my procrastination often prevents me from getting things done. I also sent away my cheque for going, £275. The good thing about it should be that the sun and heat should be in full flow. And there should be a lot of drink flowing as well. Who knows, maybe some good looking girls coming my way? OK, you lost me earlier, I understand...

I asked J to go with me to the party on Friday. I'm not quite sure what her boyfriend's going to say about that. Honestly, they're joined at the damn hip!!! I actually don't mind who goes with me to the party, as long as there's someone going with me! Would hate to deprive the fellow party people of a guest, eh? Also, I think it would be quite awkward, entering the place without somebody. And I think others would probably find it strange, as I don't think my workmates have ever seen me with anyone out of work. Can't have them thinking I have no friends now, eh? Don't say anything...

I was thinking of this whole racism business, and how it's been entertwined with Morrissey's career. I think I'm going to end up much like him, and misunderstood in my views. All these groups that are driven by racist views actually fascinate me, and I'm not quite sure what it is. The Ku Klux Klan, the British National Party, the National Front...They all have something that has to be uncovered in my view. There's obviously something driving them to be so hateful, and yet I'm not quite sure what. Just pure hatred and stupidity on their behalf? Possibly, but I sense something more...

Anyway, I hope you all don't take that the wrong way. Although I think we're all racist to an extent, we aren't extreme in our views. I'm certainly not going to don the "white power" regalia any time soon, anyway.

There's a few other things I have quite strong views on, but I shall save them for other pointless, boring and uneventful journal entries. Like the next one. So, until next time, take care of yourself, and each other...
