I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

No, I've changed my mind again...

03:09 AM

Don't worry, I haven't gone just yet. The only thing is that I'll come here "only slightly, only slightly less than I used to, my love".

So, what's new in my life? Hey, you KNOW the story. So why ask? I actually went out last weekend, which was a big surprise. I went to the pub on Thursday night after work with some "acquaintances" (I couldn't possibly call them friends) from school, went to school the next day, and went to my best friend's 18th birthday party at his house on the Friday night. Most fun, it was. Oh yes.

The other night, I watched Manchester United get knocked out of the Champions League by a team that have never been champions. Ha! The irony. In a way I was actually quite disappointed (don't ask me to explain it, because I can't). But still, looks like we're getting some Germans up here in Glasgow in a couple of weeks, along with some Spaniards. Think I should go out to sample the culture? I don't. Too reclusive.

So, Morrissey headlines a festival...at one of the points furthest away in the world from me. Coincidence? I think not. Will he grace his home shores? Probably not. Which is so vulgar. Yuck.

Guess what? I'm considering getting a pet! Uh-huh. What pet, I hear you ask? A cat? A dog? A rabbit? No no. Instead, I shall start off with two goldfish, as suggested to me by Miss Ploppy. Yup. I shall call one of them "Globule", and the other "Ploppy", to honour our resident comedian. Yeah. And then, when they die (I may feel slightly sad, but I won't cry) or even before, I will buy...a TORTOISE! Oh yes fans. I have ALWAYS wanted a tortoise (I have also longed for a kangaroo and a koala bear, despite the hopelessly impossible nature of having either), and now it looks as if I may be able to get one. Apparently, it is now legal to buy one again, and there's a couple of shops in town that have them (or so I've been told). So I'll go up sometime and have a look.

The tortoise is un-named, as yet.

I'm currently making a range of Smiths and Morrissey websites, in absence of my journal presence. It's looking okay, especially when you consider my total lack of web-page building expertise. It's actually looking slightly similar to askmeaskmeaskme.com, but that's no bad thing, is it?

I think I shall be off. I don't want anybody from school catching me on such a website, y'know? Not sure when our paths shall pass again. We just never know...Take care everyone.

(To the tune of Eminem's song, dunno what it's called) "They call me Jacques The Lad...I'm back...I'm back..."
