As with Mr_Biffo, mine examinations have now came to a sanctimonious end. Oh yes. I think it was W.B. Yeats who once said "poetry is the essence of life". Well, today, that essence was unleashed upon me, as I walked out of the examination room. A fourteen week "holiday" now bestowed upon me, I must take full advantage.

Indeed, the essence has taken a long time in coming. Sitting in the exam room today, trying to figure out z-scores and drawing histograms, a strange voice whispered into my ear "Go on, Jacques, go on." A cold shiver went down my spine like a filthy whore on a fat businessman, and as I turned round, who was standing there? Well, nobody.

Rather perturbed, I got on to the task in hand. And, having skipped the majority of question 1, questions 2 and 4 (I missed 3 out, we only had to do 2 of 3) were whistled through. As 4.30pm came and went, I strolled along these ungodly streets, breathing heavily. Who called my name? More importantly, who knew my name?

Anyhoo, none the less, the essence shall be flowing swiftly, and sweetly, this evening. For starters, we're going to a pub. Then we're going to "Rock the Shack", as New Order once sung. Or was it Bryan Adams? For now, however, it's goodbye.
