Spokane, WA (Feb. 1, 2000)

Spokane weather

I walked by the Met Theater on my lunch hour yesterday and noticed that the "MORRISSEY -- February 1, 8 PM" signage had gone up on their big billboard. Still no indication as to who the opening act is, although I confess I haven't really investigated that thoroughly. Is this still a mystery until the curtain goes up tonight, or did I just miss something?

In weather news, I woke up this morning and made my way to work in a torrential downpour. The forcast may be for snow flurries, but here in the city, it's just one big melt down. There may not be any snow left by this evening at the rate the rain and wind are coming on. I'm sure that the higher elevations are a different story though, and those coming through mountain passes from the east and west should exercise caution.

That's all for now; I'll have more to report after the show. Is anyone else that's coming to the opening night hanging around on these boards?
