Look, the thing about this is: most of us DO understand that things happen that cause a performer to be unable to go on. Most of us love Morrissey as much as any of you reading this. But the fact is, this has happened twice without ANY advance notice.

The first time was understandable, as it was POURING rain, and there would have been quite a danger in playing an outdoor venue. And obviously no-one would want Moz to force a performance that he is not up to, physically. But I suspect that the angry tone of many of the comments here are more from frustration (and lack of being able to articulate this frustration) than hatred.

After the first cancellation, there were many other tours over the years, and the Pittsburgh date was never made up. Most of us have stuck with him throughout his career, and have been patiently awaiting his return. So to have practically the same thing happen again is, to say the least, disheartening.

I know I personally did not find out about the postponement (hopefully it's a postponement?) until I had already paid $5 for parking and had walked up to the door of the venue. So please be a little more understanding to those of us who are frustrated. And if Morrissey is reading this, I want him to know that there are many of us here in Pittsburgh who love him and want him to come back despite what has happened in the past. I'm sure that he won't regret it.
