Leeds Concert

It was a funny night last night, like all the other 2000 or so supporters, on my way home from work I was singing along to Paint a Vulgar Picture, in a hurry to get ready for the taxi collecting my girlfriend and I at 6.30. We both syphoned down about half a bottle of gin and were nicely by the time we arrived outside the T&C, where the hoards of quiffs and Smiths T-shirts were standing. The support band were good, which made a change, but as expected, there was only one person the crowd wanted and that was Morrissey. I saw him on the Boxers tour for the first time the front row with my mate and he was brilliant then. I had to watch from the safety of the back last night as my girlfriend didn't like it in the brawl at the front. But to hear him sing anthems such as 'Now my heart is full', 'Alma Matters' and 'Last night I dreamt somebody loved me' from a distance was awesome, he is definfitely on a pedestal up there and I think he has just got better and better. It was a shame my girlfriend and I had a row after the concert because I had supposedly looked at some blonde girl, you might have heard us near the Odeon Cinema. I still love her though - not even she could spoil last night!!!!
