Rarely do I ever post my thoughts here, but at this time I can't resist. I applaud Moz for getting off his rear and deciding to tour again. He still has some very dedicated fans, but i'm anxious to see how much longer people will hang on. Everyone should realize that what Morrissey did in Vegas is only part of the problem. On the Maladjusted tour he toured the US playing a slew of 1 hour shows. An artist w/ a catalog as extensive as Morrissey's playing for 1 hour???
Did he just come to pay a few court bills or what? And alienating fans in major markets like Texas? I didn't get to see any show from the tour and I can't say i'm upset about it now. And now, he's playing 4 US dates and heading off to the U.K. Shame on any of you who have travelled 4, 5, or 6 hours to see Morrissey. In most cases you live in a major city or an hour or so's drive from one. If you want to tour don't do it half-heartedly. I know many of you have checked this site's reviews of the shows just as I have. We wonder what kind of spirits he was in, what songs were played, how tight they were. But knowing he played "Last night I dreamt..." in Arizona isn't going to cut it for the fans in N.Y., Chicago, or Houston, etc. Come on Morrissey.... that joke isn't funny anymore! Thanks for lending an ear people.
