Your memory is pretty impressive Amanda, all the right songs, just after 'Little Man' it went:

....then on as you wrote. They also had to drop 'Late Night Maudlin Street' from before 'Speedway', which I'm very disappointed about.....hopefully I'll get to hear it in Sydney. I got a setlist and cried like a baby...(thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to Morrissey's security for pointing to me). I met people who'd come from Perth and are going to Sydney at the barrier, front and centre. I'll pass on my photos, there should be some fabulous ones but with the lack of flash I can't be sure.

That the set was cut short was terribly frustrating. While the stage was being set up 'Old Shep' and Nico's 'The End' played but by the time everything was ready someone had switched the music to whatever had previously been playing between bands and so more time was lost while the security tried to get Morrissey's intro music played.
 
Morrissey was in fastastic form though, limping on stage, feigning a hunchback, Quazimodo-style to the chiming bells at the end of John Betjeman's 'A Child Ill'. He seemed to be in a playful mood, continuing to feign illness or injury in gesture throughout the set. I overheard a girl near me ask, "Has he had a stroke?"!!!

"These are the the riches of the poor" earnt gestures to his nipples and crotch. After 'First of the Gang to Die' the audience was teased with the intro to 'This Charming Man' Morrissey saying that of course he'd written it about himself. 'Jack the Ripper' was intro'd by supposing that while the audience might find it easy to imagine being prostitutes that being prostitutes in 1888 might be more difficult to imagine....and that when the tap on the cleavage came it was not from ? or ? but from Jack the Ripper (can anyone remember who the two were...damn I hate my memory sometimes). At some point an enormous black bra was thrown on stage which Morrissey promptly picked up and threw back into the audience with a moue of disgust and "Take that back and wash it!" before suggesting that Alain might be more interested.

Morrissey repeatedly spoke to Julia throughout the concert. At one point when somebody shouted something he screeched in reply "I can't 'ear ya......take your teeth out!" before turning to Julia and saying it was his only joke, as she well knew.

'Crashing Bores' was intro'd as a song with no animals in the title....or perhaps not....on the setlist it's spelt "Crashing Boars". "You will all of course become vegetaians, as no intelligent person that knows the facts could eat meat." The triangular gesture was once again used during Meat is Murder. 'Irish Blood, English Heart' was introduced as being about all the grains of sand that make up Morrissey's body, the girl that guessed the song was corrected for having the title around the wrong way.

Before 'Speedway' Alain asked if he could say just one thing to which Morrissey replied "Please don't" before laughing and saying "Please do Alain....say two" but I've forgotten what it was he said (too obviously hanging on Morrissey's every word it seems).

There were several lyric substitutions throughout the set and I'd be really grateful if anyone that can remeber them would post them.

Dean (?) the drummer wore the Brisbane Strikers strip that Declan gave Morrissey at the airport on Friday :-)

Did I mention that I got a setlist? One ecstatically happy girl :-)

My sister said that one of the band members mentioned that Oasis were on the wings watching the concert. Noel is apparently a huge Smiths fan.
