The Official 'Affects of US Foreign Policy On Other Nations' Thread

Keu Issue 1: We all know that Clinton did wonders for the US economy, but we also know he didn't know how to respond to shit when it came to world events. Rwanda and Somalia come to mind.

Key Issues 2: Is the Somolia Syndrome still with us Americans? Would we respond to another genocide like Rwanda, or will we sit back and watch like we are currently doing with Sudan?

Key Issue 3: We all know economic sanctions only hurt the people and not the corrupt gov'ts they are designed to take down, but is there an alternative?

Actually WWII stemmed from two things:
1. Nationalism, Imperialism, and WWI's great cliff-hanger ending
2. The Nazi's and Japanese had tiny penis... 'so small'

Well, the nationalism and imperailism of Europe, no? Author Erich Kestner (sp?) once described WWI as "Europe's suicide attempt", I liked that.

But I'm focusing on Japan when I say Nationalism and Imperialism.
