Sorry if covered elsewhere but wondered if Morrissey has ever mentioned Mexrrissey, I have a faint memory of a TTY post but it might not be true... Cheers.

I don't think he has ever made a specific statement beyond posting some of their concert dates and the release of their album on TTY.
