The Lonely Millionaire

The tour eventually ends.
He's between homes
His furniture's in a friend's cellar.
It doesn't matter where he lives.
It's beans on toast when he's at home,
Or he goes to a restaurant with a friend.
Always the people-watcher,
If he had any less presence,
He'd be invisible.
He drinks a little too much at the bar,
And silently slags off,
Each woman as she enters.
In some ways he's the ultimate playboy,
No woman good enough.
The only life that greets him,
When he gets home,
Is his dog,
Grateful to be out of kennels.

Actually what you say is quite interesting.
Obviously everyone's heard of "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys" who Morrissey said were himself, Bowie and Devoto. Did he mean Danny Devito??? Also playboys are usually after females and are not bisexual etc. They tend to be very, VERY forward when dealing with women. Because of this it surprises me when Moz calls himself a "playboy". The only way I could rectifiy this was by imagining him in bars secretly lusting over women, but having no REAL confidence with them ending up sleeping with men, rather like James Dean. I think Moz definately WANTS to be heterosexual I mean look about how much he goes on about Kristeen what's-her-name AND she's only sixteen. Middle-aged men huh?
