Morrissey at Hop Farm Festival?

Hi,
We are Big Green Coach, official coach travel partner to Hop Farm Music Festival 2011.

We would like to let you know, that we still have spaces on all variations of ticket and travel packages to Hop Farm this year!

A few quick bullet points about our service:

1. We offer a variety of ticket and travel packages that will be picking-up for Hop Farm from London Kings Cross, London Waterloo and Brighton, straight to the heart of the Hop Farm.
Full details here: http://www.biggreencoach.co.uk/hopfarm

2. Coach travel is the most environmentally friendly way to travel to the festival (if you ignore bike riding and walking that is!)

3. For each full coach we bring to the festival, we will plant two trees to help make the world a nicer place to be. Thanks to this commitment, Big Green Coach planted 307 trees in early 2011 (from 2010 journeys) and we aim to double this in 2012. Thank you to all of our customers who helped us reach this total.

We will keep you updated here and on our Facebook Group http://www.facebook.com/biggreencoachuk

We would like this thread to become a ‘virtual customer service centre’ to offer advice on any questions that you may have about the Big Green Coach services.
So don’t be shy, shout up and ask your questions! :)

We look forward to seeing all you Morrissey fans at Hop Farm 2011! :guitar:

From your website I cannot find out what times the service will run. I will be travelling from the Netherlands and will not be in London before noon. Can I still use the service at say 15:00?

when i ordered the coach it says 9:30 am(departing from waterloo and kings cross )
dont know if there are more. later services i would ask the big coach ..phoning or emaling them,
is there no earlier flight?
if they dont run later there is the train:southeastern railway-
http://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/
out at paddock green . there is a free bus shuttle service from paddock green to the festival and back
london tom paddock green costs around 15-30 pound and it takes around 45 minutes
the last train back to london runs (acc to hop farm pdf travel info) at 12.30 am

To Sistasheila and elles,

Unfortunately we can't run coach services any later than those we have listed, because they are timed to arrive as the arena opens and when the acts start playing. We wouldn't want anyone to miss part of the festival! :thumb: :guitar:

Coach times:
London Kings Cross, London Waterloo and Brighton all leave at the following times:
Thursday - 16.30
Friday - 9.30
Saturday - 9.30

Hope this helps,

Big Green Team

Really REALLY wanting to go to this. Only struggle is gettng from Leeds to Kent, none of us drive. CRRRY.

you should register on festival forums site to ask for a lift..
the southeastern railway goes to paddock which is the green nearest railway station to hop farm
so coming from leeds, well you have to travel south first to one of the connecting cities (london for example). from which the southeastern railwaytrains goes to paddock green.
from paddock green there are free shuttle bus services to the area
i would ask the hopfarm people if they know more but i think thats what you have to do-

EDIT PADDOCK WOOD NOT PADDOCK GREEN

Sorry its paddock wood not paddock green

next to southeasternrailways

http://www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/combinedmatrix.aspx?Command=TimeTable
prices 32p ound advanced booking

the coach from london from big green travel at 9.30 is prob to early to catch but thats another option..look at the green coach site^
price 24 pound
the last train back to london runs at 11.50pm and 00.35 am(or is the time spelled: 12.35 am in the UK
?well 25 minutes after midnight and 10 minutes before midnight)

the big green coach is going at 11.30 pm- the last act isnt allowed to play after 11pm and its not a huge distance toward the bus so it manageable.

I'm confused. True to you list The Pretenders in the line up for saturday, yet the Hop Farm website still doesn't mention them. If the Pretenders are playing surely they would be advertised. Is this some kind of error by True to you?

I would love to go but...
£70? Ahhhhhh! I can't afford that much especially when I'm going mainly for Morrissey (I wouldn't mind seing some of the other acts but I'm not like a proper fan). And then there's no more dates on the tour yet that are within like 150miles from me. :(
Please, Morrissey do a cheap(er) gig in London...or even better Dartford or something. :D

Oooh Frankie & Thr Heartstrings have been added, that'll make a nice summer day jump about:guitar:

manu chao..yay ..a great live act! i remember the last time i saw him must be around 2001 in roskilde...
and im really happy about gang of four.. they were on the line up since the beginning..hope they do indeed stay on the list...
i planned to see them in hamburg on sunday but decided it would been better to save as much money as i can for
the moz trip.and i will see them on the festival then
